DDR on PSP

just found this little hack a while ago for psp,its a ddr sim on psp, comes with 14 songs.its pretty intersting cuz you can play with the d-pad or face buttons or both. works pretty good so far, although playing 2handed is hard on the little face buttons, lol. hopefuly they can get some sm support, then id be sold!

you need to have v1.5 and emulator hacks

to play it you do need 1.5 firmware, then just drop the 2 folders into the game folder of ur psp

You need either 1.5 firmware or 2.0 firmware. If you have the web browser you have firmware 2.0 if you have the RSS channels you have 2.6 firmware. If yoiu have 2.0 firmware you need to use the eboot loader.

Anyway, because I feel Shamo0's explanation lacked detail, here I go. You need 1.5 firmware PSP, or if you still have one, a 1.0 firmware (japan only). If you have a 2.0 firmware psp (the update that came with LCS) then download fanjita's eboot loader here, http://dl.qj.net/2.0-Firmware-Eboot-.../517/catid/114
it's pretty self explanitory after that. You can drag and drop songs stepmania style in the Psprevolution folder. Also, I would recommend downloading this version instead.

Note-Trying to run a game off any firmware 2.0+, will result in a message stating the file is corrupt. The file is fine but Sony is against homebrew games because blah blah blah game market etc. Best of luck.

how do u play b/c its not a .zip file? and wat do u do with the eboot loader???

2.0 Firmware only!

Assuming you know how to get files on to your psp (usb cable, psp on usb mode) open the Eboot_Loader_v09 folder and drag and drop all of the files to the icon that shows up as PSP in "My Computer."

Now that you have that taken care of, open up the psprevolution zip folder, click on pspr and then click on 1.5. Now open the psp icon and go to the psp folder, then go to the game folder. Drop ONLY the pspr folder, wait for it to copy. When it is done copying, rename the folder to psprevol. Throw whatever songs in the songs folder (contained in your now psprevol folder) stepmania style.

Now that you're all done, reboot your psp (hold the power button until it turns off and then turn it back on, make sure you do not have a UMD in) and go to photo, then go to the folder entitled "eboot loader09" or something like that. You'll be taken to a screen with reindeer or something, then from there, open the psprevol folder, and click on PSP REVOLUTION.

Note-SOME songs are off sync, this is because this program is v0.01. Future updates will correct these problems.

1.Go to "My Computer"
2.Look for an icon that says "PSP"
3.Drag and drop EVERYTHING from the eboot loader zip into that.
4.Something will pop up saying something like "Do you really want to overwrite folder" click "Yes To All" (none of your savefiles or anything will be erased)
5.Do it wrong
6.Make another post asking why it's not working
