Damn oni mode

I hate to sound like some dumbass newb but...

Oni mode crashes every time I try to play Stepmania. It sucks big time...especially with all of Udderdude's new courses that I want to play. Sorry for being so vague, but I'll provide more details if somebody asks for them. In the meantime, has anyone else ever had this problem?

Oh, and I use Stepmania Alpha 5
