n00bish question about simfile making

I made a sim, ready to submit, but after the steps and the song are done, it doesn't go to the results screen, it stays on the play screen for 20 secs or so. I used Toph's S.O.S. dwi for this sim and the playing screen stays up as long as the song is, so that's the problem. But shouldn't it go to the results screen right after the song and steps are over?? I've never had this problem before and I know this sounds very n00b-like, but I really need help with this!

That's probably the most valid question I've heard anyone with less than 200 posts ask.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer.

I believe someone told me the answer was to go into the .dwi file and put the semicolon at the end of the steps on the same line as the last step.

So, if you end on a left-right freeze, instead of

B!B000B
;

You would put

B!B000B;

Hope that works...?

Go into the .sm file. If there are tons of 0's at the end, delete them all, and it should finish right away.

Thanks for your all your help, I deleted the 0's at the end. Let's hope the sim gets into the VGMP XD
