While playing stepmania [completely fresh install. tried three times so far, testing with a different song from the stepmania website each time] after playing for awhile, The game will crash either on a random left or right arrow keystroke in the selection menu, or on an arrow strike during a song. no crash report is generated [as far as I can tell] and the system immediately restarts. I'm running the latest drivers for my ATI Radeon x600xt, and XP Pro is the current operating system.
any Ideas on how to prevent Stepmania from asploding? thanks in advance, and sorry if this was covered somewhere else, I browsed the forum for awhile but didn't come accross a similar problem.
