    Quit and come back

Ok so i quit SM a while ago, about a month ago because i never had the time to play and when i did have the time to play i was always tired. So this morning when my mom was making her cake (Its a party at her office -.-) i started playing Stepmania.

I played Ageha and got 39 perfs, 1 great FC. I thought that was good, then i tried FoTS and couldnt even pass it.

Anyway i played for about an hour and noticed that i did really well on some songs and atrociously (sp?) horrible on other songs

    any tips?

    RE: Quit and come back

    You spelled "atrociously" right.

Maybe your skills are a bit rusty because you haven't played in a while. Maybe it's just the way you were playing that day. I've had times playing StepMania where I missed the arrow keys completely, or where I got simple patterns completely wrong. I can't know for sure, but I'm more inclined to believe you just had an off day.

I find that you lose your speed much faster than your MA, if you ever lose your MA completely.

Yeah speed is definitly one thing, But once you leanr how to hit arrows perfectly everytime, it's just something your brain holds onto, kind of like riding a bike.

don't worry I have times when I miss keeys completely, mostly because I put my finger over the button and just don't push down on it for some reason so I miss the arrow. Just an off day.

That's normal. Just imagine not playing for two months, think of what horrible MA you'd have then. I had horrible MA for about a day, after that my skill shot up and I had good MA, better than before.
