Hmm, I looked around in the metrics.ini but I couldn't find something. I want to get a black background for every song... I think it's something with brightness but my search didn't find what I need.

Options > Background Options (i think) Change the brightness to 0%.

Backgrounds add to the game. Unless you (like me) experience severe lag because of them, I don't see why anyone would want to turn them off (uh, unless they're really really ugly and like make the notes hard to see)...

Reason: I wanna make some video's, but the quality isn't that great. Black backgrounds make it a lot better and nicer.
