    Not-so-successful Simfile Creation

After spending hours making a fun remix of the Perfect Dark theme and timing steps with beats... it doesn't work

Everything's as it should be, the .dwi was made with Stepmania's sync editor, the music file is an .ogg and I've made sure to put it in the right folders (all files named the same thing, IE: Perfect_Dark.dwi, Perfect_Dark.ogg, ect.). It still appears in the jukebox and credit song listings, but it's not playable unless I'm editing it.

Any suggestions about how to fix this problem would be welcome.

Try turning it into an .mp3?

ogg vorbis files work though, I'm not sure what the problem is.

Just back from vacation, sorry for (extremely) late reply.

I've tried changin the filetype to: MIDI, .OGG, and MP3 using various audio converters. After changing the type, I made sure to change the file type in the sm and dwi as well. I used the StepMania package creator with an ogg and mp3, yet it still refuses to work in the normal game list.

Funny that most of my others dont work either... such as some game music from TimeSplitters 2, and Goldeneye. The Star Trek theme has no problem though (no difference in simfile setup or anything).

Well, upload what you have in a zip somewhere so we can take a look at the files you have or see if we encounter the same problem
