ffr>sm?

is it me, or are some people going to ffr more now that the update is way better. sm has kinda lost some of its fun. FFR has had a bunch of its problems fixed and way better timing.

Here is my take on FFR for what it is worth..


I don't ever think that FFR will ever replace Stepmania. I consider them products with seperate goals. Stepmania is the next best thing to DDR if you want to play DDR on your pc.. FFR on the other hand is an entertaining DDR like simulator that allows you to play anywhere you are at (computer lab, internet cafe or even the library) and on any platform. FFR is not the killer DDR app but it is entertaining and does have internet hiscores and a host of unique features now.

Stepmania is a lot more than offline FFR. If you compare them, Stepmania pwns it in ever way, but they shouldn't even be compared.

They're completely different. I would never use FFR to get my DDR sim fix, but it's nice to have a portable mini-version of SM anywhere you go.

lol, yeah same here. I almost like it better than ddr because its more of a challenge and you can use different modes like dizzy, drunk, etc.

You can play drunk mode on FFR... all you have to do is drink like 6 or 7 beers, then load up FFR...

Stepmania Is in my opinion better because you get to have the option of playing anysong in the world you want and all it takes is getting the .mp3 and just editing steps yay

I think that the fun factor and how much you can do on FFR is getting better than SM and a FFR progresses I think that the fun factor will get better and better, but I don't think that FFR is better then SM.

Id say that sm is very good. Its very exact, FFR is pretty exact too, but its jus notas fun as SM, yet I cant find any good songs for SM, can someone give me a link to a favorite site (im a standard and heavy player)
