    Different Step Types

    I was wondering what the different stype types really were. There is Freeze which is quite obvious what that is. but i can't figure out what the rest actually look like in game. i'm trying to figure out what i'm good at and what i'm not and its driving me nuts not knowing, can anybody help

    I'm not sure if this is bumping... Sorry if it is but:

    Chaos: Any beat that isn't 4th or 8th
    Stream: I'm pretty sure it's when there are alot of arrows clustered together.
    Voltage: Sorry can't help ya
    Air: The number of Double / Triple / Quadruple steps there are. Like ones that are on the same beat. Like left and right arrow on the same beat.

      Stream: Overall density of the arrows.
      Voltage: The maximum density of the arrows (generally the hardest part of the song).
      Air: The number of jumps.
      Freezes: The number of freezes.
      Chaos: The number of non 4th or 8th notes.

        i made a 5 min song with max voltage stream air and freeze and it was only reccomended as a 9foot song. and i was a bit confuesed on what choas was so this helps me a bit

          The SM foot predictor is shit, it assumes a max footage of 10, it's completely worthless for keyboard songs.

          Also, just in case anyone was wondering, DWI uses a way different Freeze calculation than SM (Mind Parasite is max freeze in SM but only like 0.3 in DWI), I think it's based on how hard it is to hold the freezes while the other notes are going.
