    Left-hand too slow

i use a DF JK setup and my left fingers can't move nearly fast enough or long enough to complete some faster songs. Are there any exercises I can do during the day to quicken my fingers and give my left hand some more stamina? I'm not at a keyboard most of the day, so that rules out that. Just moving my fingers like I would on the keys, perhaps?

    Thanks in advance

You could move your fingers around, but then people would probably give you some pretty funny looks. These things take time. I've been playing FFR for about 2 months now, and SM for a little under a month, and i can barely scrape a B on Quasar. Just give as much time as you're willing to give, and eventually you'll see some results.

Use Arch0wl's Index Practice Stepfile. I know it's "index" practice, but you'll get used to using 4 fingers too.

Just keep up the playing and you will get better. Play songs that you have trouble doing because of the patterns and you'll gradually get better at it.

I've got three words for you. And they're all the same: Practice.

And by the way: I wouldn't get used to that setup for too long. Using the arrow keys and indexes are almost a necessity for some of the harder songs. You may be able to pass Quasar now, but try it at 1.5x.

^ agreed. some songs with df jk setup just arent passable, you will feel the pain on reality when you have to do the runs with one hand.

well MAYBE its passable (...if your nima...) but i dont think quasar 1.7 would be passable with that setup, i highly doubt you could AA reality with that either, for the simple fact that a ldldldldldld or RURURURURUR run would be very hard.

                  I use zx23 and I can A reality easily =/

Unless I misunderstood this thread and you're index? I don't think so though, that would be weird setup for index.

Oh yes it is hard to pass reality on dfjk. It's even harder when you use drjk, like me.

i think the setup would be good for songs like toughen 0, or just anything that uses 32nd's in their runs that are spread out, 32nd's are a pain for index, i feel the pain on mystical potatoe.

or songs that include lots of jumps, like never come back down or ROTL
