Dancing Characters

I am really having trouble getting the dancing characters from the thread below on to my SMCVS. Any help greatly appreciated.

Ok, here's what ya do Mr., ok, normally it's REALLY easy if you install in .smzip form BUT you don't get it so here's the manual way:
Unzip the .smzip with like winRAR or WinZip and there should be folders of dancing characters names on it. Now, put them in like this:
'/StepMania CVS/characters/"put all the folders here"

hey umm i downloaded the characters and when i try to open it or extract it says "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\StepMania CVS\Characters\sm_characters_full.smzip is not a valid zip archive." what do i do can someone help plz?
