REALLY weird problem

Okay, some of the simfiles aren't showing the banners they should be. They're showing a portion of the album cover and it's showing pictures I didn't even know I had on my computer, for the various songs by Mindless Self Indulgence, Kamelot and Rhapsody, or a few others like The Flashbulb or Squarepusher or Crash.

Basically, I want to be able to see the correct banner and I don't know why I"m not. Any ideas?

Oh also, SM is STILL skipping. I've tried just about everything and I'm pretty sure the problem has to be my sound card, an SB Live! LS. Basically, Creative has yet to release new drivers for the Live LS card, so I have no drivers to install other than the ones that came with the card. I've tried everything-reinstalling mobo/video/sound card drivers, lowering resolution, running SM with NOTHING else going on at all, I have freakin tried everything. SM still skips. If there's some ancient chinese secret no one's told me about, please let me know. I've had way too many AAA's get jewed away lately.

By skipping, do you mean the song skips? or the arrows lag a bit? cause i have a problem where my arrows are kinda jumpy every once in a while...and i dont even have that many progs. open. if im just rambling on then ill shutup now. lol.

Hmmm... Some songs i have "skip" too. Its really weird. Nothing is wrong with the stepfile I believe. Whenever i play it, it just randomly skips around, making it impossible to play until it ends. I think its some songs from a rage pack, archowl pack and a One Piece song. It makes me mad because the songs are cool and i want to play them.

Oops I just realized you were talking about a completely different thing. Oh well it still fits under the topic.

SOLUTION:
It is showing the hidden cd picture instead of the actual banner. Steps to fix this:
-If you have hidden files and folders viewable, skip this step.
Open up Windows Explorer. Go to Tools>Folder Options. Under the View tab, in the window at the bottom, find the category "Hidden files and folders". Turn this on.

Step 2: Go to the song folder(s) that are affected. You should now see some square pictures with strange file names. Delete them. Do this for all of the songs affected.

Open SM, reload songs/courses, and you're good to go!

Thanks for trying to help, but I'm not seeing any other extra picture files in the folders. That's the weird thing about this problem... it's showing album covers that I didn't know existed on my computer.
