I have a big problem with stepmania!

When I press a button when I'm playing during the middle of a song, it sometimes doesn't register until like 2 seconds later. Is there a way I can fix this?

How slow is your computer? Do you have any cpu intensive things running in the backround? What are your FPS?

Turn the resolution waaaaaaaay down.

Then get a new computer.

Turn the resolution down, turn the graphics down to software, no graphics card at all, and if nessesary, downgrade to 3.0.
