does anyone know if it is possable to hook up an Xbox dance pad to a computer to play Step Mainia? i know it is possable with PS2 pads but what about Xbox?

Yes it is possible. You just need an X-box adapter. http://www.stepmania.com/stepmania-old/adapter.php - There are a bunch of X-box adapters there, you just have to scroll down.
