Hello everyone, I just downloaded Dance With Intensity for my laptop afte rplaying it at my friends house on his PC. I was really excited when it had finished installing but then disaster struck... It wont work on my laptop! It says somethings about an error initializing video surface and it closes out. I dont know what is causing this error but it may be because my DirectX drivers arent up to date, im not sure. Can someone please help me...and quick because im gonna die if I have to play Delight Delight Reduplication one more friggin time.

I have StepMania on my laptop but its not powerful enough to actually play it. I saw that DWI had low system requirements thats why I downloaded it (my laptop is old). But thank you for the speedy reply but I still need some help >_<.Comment

Upgrade DirectX to 9.0c and upgrade your video drivers (if applicable) and see if that works. If it doesn't, your laptop is not capable of running it.

OK, i just downloaded the DirectX 9.0c intsallation and came across another damn problem, the installation cannot connect to the network to get the runtime files for DirectX. Ill have to wait until I have access to a PC with high speed internet so i can download these files and transfer them to my laptop. Thanx for your help, ill keep you updated on if I get it to work =)Comment

Thanx for the reply, but as I stated before, my laptop does not meet the requirements. I finally got access to a PC and burned DirectX 9.0c and installed it on my laptop and Dance With Intensity worked =). Thank you all for your helpComment
