A hard question to ask

I've been thinking since I haven't been able to play StepMania for around a month. And also for 2 weeks in December, that if I should quit StepMania?

For the past 5 months in my SM playing my keyboard has gone to shit. I've had to buy 2 new keyboards and they haven't done ANYTHING. They've allowed me to play for a few days then they die. I'm thinking about getting a computer built for me, but it would take a while to gather the money, and thus my SM playing would be even worse.

I want to ask you all if you think I should quit SM, or Stay. Quitting might also destroy my simfile makings, I might not make them anymore, but if I stay I'll continue making them.

I want to know what you all think. Why should I stay or leave? Why do you want me to stay or leave? Do you want me to quit playing but continue making simfiles. (Or vise versa)

No bullshit answers please, I can already picture Moogy posting "You suck, leave" Just like that, with no reason. If you have no reason, just don't post. I want to know WHY you guys want me to stay or leave.

And this doesn't mean I'll leave the FFR Forums.

It's not exactly a life or death situation GamePro. It's just a game where you hit 4 keys to music. If you don't feel like you can play it properly, then don't, the world won't implode if you don't play.

As a matter of fact, try taking a break from the computer all together for maybe... 2 weeks? I did and it did me a world of good, mainly for school.

hm... not that hard of a question... buyinga new computer seems likea little much. how can you ruin so many keyboard, ive had the same one for 2 years and it still works great! gampro i have another keyboard like the one im using i could mail it to you since you dont live to far away from me. just please dont quit

I do take breaks from the computer, and stop playing SM for a while. I haven't really played for a month. I'll also take the keyboard to test, if it doesn't work its because of my computer. My computer sucks too much, 16 gig Windows XP WTF? My dad is a computer noob, he uses IE instead of Firefox, so we have shitloads of spyware and stuff. Its just much better to build a computer.

I would build a com too, its easier and you can choose all your specs, unlike those Dell assholes.
Its also cheaper.

Now back to your stupid ass question to the world, NO!!
If you consider leaving SM again, ill come up there and royally kick your ass. You were the one who taught me how to play, you helped me get better, and you basically guided me through all this. You cant leave man, your Sims were getting so much better too, you stopped those annoying ass jump streams.

So if you leave, then i will hack your shitty com.

Personally, none of us can really give you much more lead as to what you do. Like TehWhack said, take a break. It helps quite a bit. I'm not telling you to leave, nor to stay. It's your bloody decision.
