Step making

I assume this is the best spot to put questions about it so here we go.

I followed the guide to step making flawlessly up until it said open notepad (done) go to save as musicname.dwi (done) go to the scroll bar and choose "all formats". Uh oh, I only have "all files" now when I try to save as a .dwi it saves as .dwi.txt which is definately not right. Any suggestions/solutions/comments? I'd love to make some good classic rocks songs for FFR but I seem to have a little trouble getting off the ground.

I found my answer on my own. And for anyone who has the same problem and is wondering what to do edit the document outside of notepad. Meaning look at the document on the desktop or wherever you put it and delete the .txt off the end. Then open it and say "open with notepad" It will fix the problem.

I use x-step to make stepfiles. It's pretty easy to learn and stuff. I don't have the link off hand so you have to find it

Does anyone know how to get stepmania insted of stepmania.com because i don't know how to download that i need an easier site to download ddr game. Like where can you go to play ddr on full screen to play drop the boom my favorite song and game. Can someone tell me how to get another ddr game for ful screan becasue the stepmania wont let me download i need an easier site on how to download the game with songs like boom boom dollar drop the boom and other songs from ddr cuz i dont have a ddr pad or ps2.
