Scoring.

Hey,

I was playing around with stepmania, and I realized that if I got 20 B's on a certain stage, and then got 1 A, it sitll gives me a B, when choosing stage... I'm led to believe it averages all of the scores together... If not please tell me...

What I want to do, is to make the scores and letter grades beside the songs, be the TOP score and TOP letter grade for that particular stage... I looked through the options, I found a scoring option for MAX2 or 5th... With me not being a big DDR fan, I don't know what the scoring diff is between DDRMAX2 and the 5th edition. I changed it to the 5th. and went back to the songs, and it was the same, that B was still a B rather than an A...

Anyway, does anyone know a possible way to change it so it shows high scores rather than averages???

It doesn't show the average, it shows the high score. It goes by total score, not letter grade. So you probably got a B with a higher total score than the A.

oh, ok... yea, it happened another time, just now... except it was a song I got a B on, and i kept getting C's and then it was a C...
