Dance characters for your stepmania program

hello people in FFR land.
During my late night browses through yahoo in search of things for my computer or a new game. I stumbled across this for stepmania.

Oh! some of the characters from DDR might not be in this (ie: alice *grrr*).

umm i downloaded it and installed it and stuff but the characters are not there. do u have to activate them or somethin?

If you go into "options". Go To "Background Options". Look for "Dancing Characters". Set it to "default to random". Now go and pick a song. Make sure you press start to open the options menu.
Go all the way down until you see "character". Now just hit left or right and Viola! ((I have stepmania CVS. It should work for reg. Stepmania)). If it still doesn't work, then just delete it.

:EDIT: If it comes to it, I will put up screenshots incase no one still gets it.

its a CVS thin sm 3.0 final wont do it (i dont think) if you have the new CVS off of www.ddrmaniax.net (i think thats it.. ) it'll work

Ok sweet i got it to work. Took me 3 hours and my comp crashed 5 times, but i got it working somehow. Thx

Remember kiddies, characters will ONLY show up in full color if you have OpenGL so if you don't, it'll look like a black nome and you'll all parish from looking at it. Go to DDRManiaX forums and get Salilor Moon and other characters that them people created.

solo arrows are great.. and the characters arent any fun with colorful backround.. they are distracting.. i had to put my brightness at like 20%...

My stemmania cvs gets full screen and mushes everything to the left...can anyone help me with that?

If I were you:
Set the game to "window". It will mess the screen up, but restart your comp or just trun it off. relog back on, open smcvs, and there, it will work. Did that even make any sense?
