Having simfile issuees

God, my computer is a wreak. u-u; I've been trying to follow the tutorials on making simfiles. So the firs thing I do is go to download Dance with Intensity. And the first thing i get is some .dll error. Some... FreeImage.dll error, I believe. Now, on the site it says its because DirecX isnt up to 8.1, I have 9.0 And still get this error. As far as I can see, there isnt any other information on it. So, I'm hoping you guys can help.

I was planning to do a couple songs by Yoji Biomehanika. I havent seen any and his songs are perfect for this.

How can you spell Stepmania as DWI? I think you mean your memory is atrocious?

I'm just, apparently, really new to this. I was just following the FAQ on here I think, about making simfiles, said something about downloading DWI.

Just slap a Newb sticker on my forehead. u-u;

Stepmania lets you make simfiles. Go to Edit/Sync songs on the main menu.

In the FAQ they meant DWI File not DWI the program, but that's OK, I had trouble on my first simfile, too. Like Moogy said, use the stepmania editor and you use the keys: 1 2 3 4 to place arrows. Good luck.

I was playing around with the editor... and I'm not doing too well. Lol. such extensive work. I tried just working the first few seconds of the song and I allready gave up. Lmao

yup. cause i was serious when asking if she looked like the anime chick... although since i don't know anime at all, i thought it could be a representation of herself. or at least... wishful thinking.

Go to http://www.stepmania.com/stepmania/v...DME-FIRST.html. Thats the best tutorial. Thats how I learned how to make my files. Oh yeah save it as all files on not pad 2.
