Keyboard Problem

For some reason it's impossible for me to press up, down, and right togather. I press them all togather, but it doesnt work on SM or FFR.. There are also other combos that dont work. Is something wrong with my keyboard or do I have to like switch an option or something. HELP!

P.S. Because of this.. I cant FC certain songs.

Some Keyboards will not allow you to hold more the two keys down.
Get a better keyboard. Problem Solved.

Turn off numlock. I don't know why, but it fixes the problem for me.

My friend once told me that pulling out that little black tab on the end of the keyboard wire makes you able to press all 4 arrows at once. I don't know if you should try it (didnt work for me).

1.May I have a keyboard name?
2.That num lock thing doesnt work for me.
3. I dont have a little black tab at the end of my keyboard wire.

So what I'm looking for now is a good Keyboard name and possibly a price.

try using the 4268 kays on the right number pad

or buy a new keyboard....i have a Logitech Elite....get one of those.....they work just dandy

So your positive, Pooping_Panda, that you can press all 4 keys down at once and have it still work in SM or FFR (not that there are any songs on FFR that you need it for, but there might be in R2 (ya never know)) and all the different combos of keys together? Because I don't want to buy it and have it the same as the one I have right now.

DHS1 - older keyboards cannot handle many keypresses at the same time. The test is supposed to be 5 alphabet letters at the same time, but the arrow keys are another nuisance. One solution that has been mentioned is the numlock idea. For some reason, my keyboard (brand new and very very nice) only does the beep when it feels like it. I can mash all four at the same time and never hear the beep. But since I don't want to risk it, I de-numlock. Never heard the beep since.

Ugh, I keep trying the num lock idea, but it doesnt work on my computer. ;_; I think I'll buy the Logitech Elite. Pooping (XD), can you tell me where you bought it and how much $$ it was? Or atleast where you bought it.

All dell key boads allow 4 buttons at once, im positive.

Any keyboard you get with your comp might not have this ability, I have to switch keyboards to play those retarded songs with quads and triples that my keyboard cant do.
