Ummm...no, I'm talking about making your own song with your own stepfile, smart one. Like if I wanted to make a System of a Down song into a Stepmania song. God, are you retarded or something...

Use Stepmania.

You make a folder for the song, and put the song that you want along with a blank DWI file in it, and place that folder in your songs folder, then go into EDIT/SYNC songs in stepmania and create steps for it. You can do this with any song.

Im new and I tried that but couldn't get stepmania to run {error saying there is no bpm for the song } I opened notepad then saved as blank.dwi what am I doing wrong? How do I stop this? If I have to get a blank DWI file somewhere, where can I get it to prevent this from happening?

Then I think theres a ico labeled tools or smtools or something. Click on that then hit create song, choose .mp3 file then you got it in your

Stepmaina>Songs>My Creations>Yoursongfolder

It will only have the mp3 and .sm file so go into Stepmania, open the file in the editor make a blank step chart then hit save, exit, go to the song solder and you have a .dwi.

Or simpy copy an existing .dwi file and change what's in it to match your song.
