whenever I try to play the latest version of stepmania (3.9) the menus have a white border,and the highlighted option is white. also,the arrows (notes) during actual gamplay are inside of white boxes. I have a picture to show what i'm talking about. can anyone help and tell me whats wrong? and if so,how to fix it?

Something is wrong with the transparency settings for the images. Not sure how to fix it, but it's good to know what's wrong.

Spazz is right, your comp is set so it doesn't show transparency in pictures. Don't know how to fix it though, sorry.
