I'm running SM5 (Simply Love theme) on Windows 7. Options like judge and lifebar don't ever change, but I have to use the WaveOut fix to prevent arrow stutter. Problem is preferences.ini seems to change back to "SoundDrivers=" instead of "SoundDrivers=WaveOut" once every 6 or 7 days. Can anyone help? My gut says this is Windows.

From what I remember, Simply Love does edit some preferences.ini fields under the hood. That might be the culprit. Also, which SM5 version are you running?
It happening every 6 or 7 days doesn't make much sense though, unless that's the interval between your sessions or some other system operation (e.g. reboot).Play my files

maybe its cause of where you installed SM, like, its saved in a folder that doesnt have permissions to write
i remember the old version of SM installed to like, some obscure folder in %appdata% or something, so maybe try to install etterna instead of simply love, in a folder you have read/write access toComment
