I figured that it's fitting to put it in here but here we go: I'm gonna be doing a Stepmania panel for a con next month. Simply put, we all know Stai's AGDQ 2016 presentation got a whole lot of attention (second highest viewing, behind the Mario Maker race iirc? Correct me if I'm wrong) and a small spike of interest before fading again. And I'm sure that MOST people would agree with me on it (and I talked with some people who play Stepmania on Twitch): Setting up Stepmania for the first time is an absolute bitch. And (multiplayer aside) it is one of Osu's biggest advantage over Stepmania. (Also, fucking Photobucket...Rushy's FFR pictionary guide would have been fantastic to use fml)
Now, why the hell am I doing a panel on Stepmania? Well, I'm gonna be doing a simple "For Dummies" crash course that will hopefully cover the simple 101 basis of setting up Stepmania, the easiest spot to get packs (Shout outs to gd and the peeps who keep the page going, I'll try to see if during my 3-week vacation to Texas I'll begin archiving the packs and help out with making a V4 if needed GD).
And the only other thing left is the panel day and time, which it'll be Saturday, August 5th from 11:30 pm to 1 pm, so now I must slowly get going a draft on what I have to do and hopefully get some posters up :v
