    paid syncing

I'd be willing to pay people to sync songs. You'd be added to the chart creator field, of course.

I'm not able to do this because I simply don't have time. I have time to chart it, but in the time it would take me to sync I could make 2-3 other charts.

How much would anyone willing to do this charge?

Note: I've been paid to make charts before. I'm not going to do that bullshit where I'm constantly asking you to revise it to meet some little thing or another. I'm more than okay with good-enough as a result.

Can't speak for him, don't know if he would even be willing to, but I live with someone who is pretty known for doing sync stuff [at least among the ITG community] -- anywho, I could point him over to this thread. Else, I'm garbage and useless for this purpose.

      Re: paid syncing

I think it depends on which community you're targeting.

If it's the ITG community, they'll go out of their way to bash you for not matching up notes to a waveform program* and applying a 9 ms offset bias (and maybe an additional 3 ms for the time it takes for the sound to get to someone's ear).

Are you making simfiles for Stepmania or ITG? If it's ITG, arcade machines have the 9 ms offset bias I mentioned above so that will factor into what type of syncing you want.

*Arrow Vortex, DDReam Studio, Audacity, you get the idea.

I believe I'm a quite agile syncher, but then again, who isn't?

I don't think I've synced a file properly in my life. Then again I don't use DDReam

Are we talking about songs that tend to drift/change BPM's every other measure?

this isn't a pm but I wanted to revive this thread anyway, and:

this is one of the more difficult requests I'd have. I'm requesting one of the following here:

                  1. BPMs close enough where I could just put normal notes down, i.e. I don't have to slow down the song to 0.7 and play hide-and-go-seek with 128ths, or

                  2. notes that match the actual hits he's making on the drum sindependent of BPM, since I can just rearrange them. can be a gigantic series of left arrows as long as they're accurate

a less difficult request is this. I'm not actually sure if it needs extensive syncing but:

I was going to step the entirety of the snare rhythms here. I don't know if this requires syncing beyond just plopping the song's bpm in there.

                  other things I'm curious about:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxC-LjFuQgI this would be interesting to step, but I'm not married to the idea. wondering how difficult it would be.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxVYGG4aQm8 wondering if this needs syncing at all, or if it's just aligned to digital rhythms like a lot of soundtrack stuff is

                  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGlhoUE86gA same as above.
