    SM receptors

    I know how to modify where the receptors are placed, but does anyone know if it's possible to modify the spacing in them? And if it is, how?

    I knew this at one point. And I know it's modifiable since it keeps glitching in a IIDX 3.9+ theme port... I'll look around and see if I can find the way to modify it.

        I know exactly how to modify it in the source code, and am currently working on an extension to allow themes to modify it through Lua functions (among other things).
        Probably another week or so before it's finished enough to add to mainline SM5, depending on how much sanity I have.

        If you're okay with building from source, open GameManager.cpp and find the "COL_SPACING" variable for your game type. Change that to a different number, and the columns will be a different spacing apart.

            My method does not work in SM 3.95 because it requires modifying the source code and recompiling. (I assume anyone using SM 3.95 cannot recompile stepmania)

                    I'm using it because I'm not 100% sure how to modify other clients any other way. But that's only because I've been lazy and have been playing FFR more than SM lately.
