    Just one more question, I swear

    Alright, last night I put the finishing touches on the steps for my first stepfile. However, I can't figure out how to change the song difficulty (the number of feet). This isn't a 1 foot song, and I don't want to mislead anyone. Help perhaps?

      Do you mean in the Edit/Sync songs menu or the actual step creation screen?

        If you can't find it just edit the DWI and SM in notepad.

        DWI:

        #SINGLE:MANIAC:1:
        SM:

        hard:
        1:

        Oh, and the LJ.

            I've seen that before, does manipulating the different radar things actually work? i've never seen it actually do anything...

              Also, its hard to say, No one seems to have the same rating scale anyways. Well the really good players usually agree on what's higher than 10 feet, but from 6-10 feet, it's always something to debate about. The feet and Radar usually aren't enough to go by, a general crowd consensus is probably the only way to tell what the songs difficulty in feet should be.

                  Follow up question. I'm trying to load up a background. This is what I have put in the DWI file:

                  #CDTITLE:Backdrop.PNG;
                  and in the SM file:

                  #BACKGROUND:Backdrop.png;
                  but it doesn't show up. I copied those scripts directly from some other stepfiles I have on file. What am I missing?

                    A background? As in What you see while you're playing? All you have to do is stick the .jpg, .png or (I think) .gif in there with the dimensions 640x480, or 320x240, and it should work.

                      Alright, everything is ready to go. I go to simfiles, click on add a simfile, put in the appropriate info, and then I get an error message saying that the album has already been loaded. 1. I haven't loaded it yet and 2. If I have, it isn't there. I searched for it. So what gives?

                        I've gotten the same problem...... You're screwed. Thanks for coming out.

                        Jk :P

                        Change the author name a bit, and it should work.
