SM Error

I looked around and didn't find anything near what I'm looking for except something dating back to 2007. I downloaded SM5 and I keep getting this message:

There was an error while initializing your video card.

What can I do? Tried looking but couldn't really find anything..I'm not too computer privy.

Use SM 3.9 or 3.95

maybe one of the devs could answer your question


because stepmania 5 is worth your time as 3.9 and 3.95 are infinitely inferior

maybe for stepping files sm5 is superior but i see no added benefits...3.9 is still stepmania lol

Larger reading space, better customizability, better registry, and a way better coded game overall

yeah good point actually...i should try getting used to the extra reading space, might help reading speed stuff a bit

anyway sry for getting off-topic..hope the problem gets fixed
