    SM-ITG Bpm Fail

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, and sorry if it isn't, but I'm having an issue I wondered if anyone could help me with. I'm in the process of charting a song, and when I went to test it on an ITG2 machine, the bpm was WAY off, but it matches perfectly when run through SM. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please? x.x Thank you for your time/help!

it's either a global offset problem, or the problem with .sm and .ssc files, if you're using SM5.

if the latter, transfer the BPMs and stops from the .ssc into the .sm. when you're done stepping the simfile, it's good to delete everything but the music file and the .sm.

check if you're in song timing or step timing when in sm5 if that's what you're using

Depending on the machine that you're playing on, audio frequency can be an issue. Make sure you export your audio to 48 khz, because some machines (pre r21?) will speed up the song if it happens to be anything lower.
