give me reasons for why I should get back into it / should not get back into it

I will probably not be making simfiles. Searching for good music was such a bitch all those years ago and I don't have the patience to even try right now.

Anything I need to know about what has happened recently? Do we still all use 3.9/3.95 or is there a new/better version now? (I know SM4 exists but iirc it was trash)

After playing a while yesterday, my accuracy was terribad but it might have been the keyboard I used

Having old vets get back into the game is certainly helping reversing the dying community

You made tons of awesome simfiles in the past whixh people still enjoy, maybe a good song will pop up here and there

Stepmania 5 with ultralight theme is very good and you should give it a try. Asside from that 3.9/3.95 is still okay

unaccustomed keyboards make it harder to get back into the game after a long hiatus so that might be the case

Honestly, You are a pioneer in simfile making/sync.
Just my opinion, but tgwp full ver is the greatest sim sync wise.

Its your call either way. I just think it would be great to see one of the
Original vets to come back.

stepmania 5 is da best


solo packs are the most downloaded packs since kbmp so you should get into solo again

singles is only fun if you're original which 99% of people can't really do anymore apparently.

Played some. I definitely want to get back into it but I'm awful. I need to replace this keyboard so badly. It can't even do strings of 8th jacks

That being said, SM5 is what's up right now, and it even comes pre-packaged with a couple of songs by Kommi. I'm not 100% sure on whether I've gotten better or J4/L4 on sm5 is more lenient than it is in 3.9, though (passing DTM's FotS oni? With those stupid minijacks?), so you might want to get the old one just to be safe.

(finding screenshots and adding speedmods to the latest version is also a goddamn chore)
