I had SM alpha 8, and everything was working fine.

I debated with myself wether or not I should stick with my well-working alpha 8, or chance it and go for the alpha 18.

Sure enough, I have problems already.

1. When I try to use my "SMMAX2" theme, or even the Max 2-CVS, I get this-

2. My announcer seems to have fallen asleep and won't announce.

Themes don't work on the newer Alphas.

Here's my suggestions to the two questions:
1) If you like using the MAX2 theme, go to savageddr.com and download their MAX2 evolution theme. It works with all the new alphas and looks like the actual arcade version.
2) Have you tried it under Default? Or does it only fall silent on your MAX2 theme?

No, my announcer doesn't work even on the default theme ;>_>.
