Hey all,
If anyone lives down in Manchster, get down to the Namco station in the Trafford Centre. They have the new DDR X machine, along with the older Euromix 2 that they've had previously!
I realised a massive fault with the machines settings though, that has put me right off.
The sync is off!!! Even if you step on the arrows before a song, and the arrows on screen flash, they are milliseconds out.
This means, that if you are playing a song, and you usually get fantastic/perfects, you are getting a few perfects, but mostly greats, and even goods, knocking your combo.
I got a D on Healing Vision in Expert, that I'd usually get a A/B on.
I told them about it, and they didn't even know what I was talking about.
I just said 'they'd have to fix that'.
I hate it when they just see you as a geek/dork because you've noticed something a lot of regular players would get upset about.
All they care about is that the machine works, and they have it.
But, for a game like that, the accuracy has to be in sync too, and its just not.
Whoever set up that machine, didn't even bother to run a sync check
