    Screenshot Problems

I just started playin stepmania and I got a nice score I liked. I pressed the print screen button to get the screenshot, pasted into paint, but when I pasted it, it did not paste the stepmania screen, but my desktop screen. What is my problem?

What version of sm do you have. On 3.9 or 3.95 you simply go to stepmania/screenshots, and they will be in there. For 4 you have to go to my documents/StepMania CVS/Screenshots.
You wont have to paste these into paint, they will already be cropped and nice looking

I am pretty sure its 3.95, and when I went into the program, it did not have a creenshots folder. I added one, but they wont show up in that folder. They do on my laptop. Dont know whats wrong.

      EDIT: It's version 3.9.

When you hit print screen while the stepmania window is opened, you should hear a shudder sound which means the screenshot was taken. Stepmania has its own screenshot program which will create a screenshots folder in the stepmania folder. It should be there. If it is not, then there was probably a defect in the stepmania download. In that case, the only thing I could say to help out would be to uninstall and reinstall stepmania.

ok, I will try this. Is there anyway do uninstall it and keep all the songs and other things (noteskins, themes, etc.) I already have?

You can just move the songs out of the songs out of the songs folder, and put them back in after reinstalling. Same goes for the themes and noteskins. All in the themes folder.

ok, I reinstalled the program. When I took out the program files(thing with all the folders), it came with the SS folder, but I think it was the one I made. Even though I reinstalled it I think it uses the same files witin it. This whole situation is really mkain me mad!
