ITG2 custom songs

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to this sorta thing but is there anyone that can guide me step by step so I can play some of my songs off of a memory stick?

1. Make a folder inside the USB called 'In The Groove'
2. Make a folder inside that folder called 'Songs'
3. Put the files in there. Note that the music file MUST be a .ogg, not a .mp3

It's really simple.

inside that folder make a "Songs" Folder

depending on witch version of itg2 you have ( r21 or r23 ) you cant play songs over 2 minutes 15 seconds on r23 if you have r21 CONGRATS has long has the file is under 5 megabytes you can play it no matter HOW LONG it is.

BUT REMEMBER the songs cannot be in MP3 format. it HAS to be .ogg

i use audacity to convert songs to .ogg

if you get audacity just right click your mp3 you wana use and hit "open with" the click on aidacity. the click file and convert whole file to .ogg vorbis

and 1 more thing you only can put the ogg file and the sm file nothing else. no banners bg or video.

You forgot to mention that you need to patch those files with the OGGlengthPatcher.exe
