DDR Extreme and Stepmania agree that it's a Chaos-heavy song, and the definition of Chaos applies.

SuperNova, however, says it has about 4/10 Voltage, 4/10 Chaos, and 9-10/10 Stream.

The arbitrary definition of "Chaos" are notes that don't occur on the beat (Not 4ths, not 8ths)

Songs like Insertion, bag, Tsugaru and Tino's White Horse all demonstrate this, through gallops, or other such offbeat notes.

And now you come here and tell me it happens because it's stupid.

What I'm getting at is, was the definition of Chaos changed when Supernova came out?

Also, why does Sakura *still* show the wrong BPM? (Really 27-320, but DDR Ex and DDR SN show 14-300)

Yes.

Stepmania, and the Extreme arcade machine both agree, displaying 'bag' as a song that is top-heavy in Chaos, and medium in Voltage/Stream.

SuperNova displays 'bag' as top-heavy in Stream, medium in Voltage/Chaos.

And I still don't get the Sakura thing.

I was under the impression that Chaos was the types of patterns of the notes. IE Tons of crossovers etc.

Nope, Chaos just means the density of notes that aren't 4ths or 8ths.

That's why So Deep has a huge Chaos meter, even though I wouldn't exactly call the file chaotic.

The song "Chaos"? It's really not that chaotic. All they did was compose the song of 16th notes, all spaced apart the same distance as 4ths (Aka Yellow-Note-Symdrome). A few places it switches to Orange (32nds) and such. In my opinion, this is just a cheap way to up the meter a bit. The real difficulty is in the stops.

Hence another reason that proves what Chaos (The rating) is.
