Going to play PAD soon for first time; instead of keyboard.

Hey guys, I've been playing Stepmania/FFR for about 5 months now; typically I try to aim for anything between 12-16 feet (most of the time..); anything above that might cost me a C or a D (or just fail..); but now I want to see what it's like playing stepmania on pad, which I'm supposedly getting a USB pad for a Christmas present. How difficult should I expect the game to be? -_-;

The keyboard sims that you've grown to know and love will be hard as hell on pad. But I'm pretty sure you've found some nice pad sims. But anyways, expect it to be hard. Start easy, then go harder. Simple as that. Hey, you might even be able to be as good as that asian kid.

Fail ;p I pwnt an entire family of Asians on ITG recently and I'm not that good.

If you haven't been playing index you have no chance of reading the harder stuff right off the bat... it's pretty much like starting over again.
