RE: DDR
Best advice I can give you:
1) Chill out. It's only a game. Don't worry about how good or bad you think you are.
2) Have fun. Fall into your style as soon as you find it.

RE: DDR
That's some of the best advice there. Also, don't attempt songs on heavy until you are used to a few songs. Some people have jumped straight into heavy but those ppl are hard to find. Start with songs that are anywhere between 100-180 bpm if this is your first time.Comment

Re: DDR
I'm right up there with you too chrissbaby. I played it for the first time about a month ago and was addicted to it right away. Playing FFR has definately helped me to see the arrows quicker, but, maybe I'm just too old to move that quick because the best I can do is a B on light mode. How the hell anyone can do 10 steps is beyond me. There are so many arrows going so fast my brain can't even comprehend the 5 step ones. Maybe if I lie down and just roll around on the pad then I could probably score better. Hmm. I'll have to try that.Comment

Re: DDR
You think people get better in a day? I played for maybe 8 months accumulatively, but really 2 years. I'm just now doing harder 10-footers (Maxx Unlimted), and I only get B. I must admit though, for first time, B on Light is actually pretty good. Then again, you play FFR, so you have an advantage.
I saw a 53 year old (I asked) on Heavy, 6-7 footers. You're never too old.Comment
