So I now own Georgia's 2nd ITG dedicab

Yep. Bought it a couple weeks ago for $5,000. It was the former Fort Rapids machine (Famous tournament). It was in Ohio so I just had the joy of flying up to Ohio, renting a Budget Truck, and driving 14 hours back to Georgia with 1,000 pounds of arcade machine.

Oh god... moving the machine from the truck into my basement was literally the most difficult thing I've ever done... Pushing the 600 pound base of the machine through 40~ feet of grass and pushing it through a door that was the exact same width was miserable.

BUT. It was all worth it. I'm still in the middle of setting it up and stuff, but here's a couple of pics to show the gist of it. I havent connected the P1 and P2 pads yet, or installed some of the metal and stuff. I also have to clean it hardcore because it was pretty dirty.

I've moved a beatmania IIDX machine in my truck. I know how that is. Putting it in the basement as well. Shit sucks. Nice grab though!

When we went to pick up the machine we have we didn't have a ramp and had to lift it up onto the truck x.x. Then when we went to move from Jersey to Chicago the ramp was too small on the truck to really wheel it up it was such a pain haha. Now we're going to be moving it again in the next month or so, I feel your pain.

the ramp on our truck was SOOOO steep, that when we finally got it to my house, my mom was trying to slow it's progress down the ramp, and it was so heavy that her face turned red and she started saying she was going to drop it, and I think I accidentally said "Oh fuck" out loud. lol.

Yeah lol. When we were getting it down from the one without the ramp Tiza dropped his end as it was coming down so I was holding all the weight myself. Fortunately the truck with the ramp that was too small allowed us to bring it down without it sliding down fast. It was a pain to get the machine onto the truck with it though. I'm not looking forward to another move of it.

Do you have the original monitor for it and just decided to hook up the flat screen?

lmfao, I was the same way when Kayla and I were trying to move the dedicab to storage, I was freaking out because I thought we were going to drop it off the ramp, hahahahaha

Trust me Ill be paying off a loan for the money for a few months. I bought it because ITG is seriously my entire life when Im not at work. I want to be the best

Yeah this wasn't an outright purchase for us either. The plan was to get it somewhere public for a bit to pay it off haha.

Makes more sense lol. Either way, I wish I could at least have one near where I am now. Where I live has an openITG machine 5 mins away, with 3k songs on it but the USB reader is buggy as fuck and its a dollar per 3 songs...at college here, we don't have a machine, and I'm getting fat.

I'm glad you got the machine and that it works and all... but when looking at these photos something gave me chills. The fur stood up on my arms and I couldn't figure out why. I was already a little skeptical when you told me earlier it was going in your basement but after seeing these photos I knew something was up.... so I took a deeper look at them with some image enhancing technologies.

The one that stood out most to me was this one, seemed like just an ordinary picture.




Nothing out of the ordinary...until I took a closer look with some technologies that I stole from the csi miami's datacenter. When you clear out some of the artifacting and pixelation of the image and zoom in a little... well... I nearly fell out of my chair in horror.









Something was wrong...this couldn't have been right. And then I took more into account. You have one of two machines in Georgia. One of two, with the other being owned by flash. Now take the letters of flash's name...5 letters. Now take how many machines are in Georgia...2. 5-2 = 3. How many letters are in cat? 3.
Yes this sounds ridiculous but look at it like this: There are 7 letters in georgia and 5 letters in flash. 7-5=2. 2 machines. Now consider that you own 1 of the 2 machines. 1+2=3. 3 = Cats.

Yeah the only machine that we had to play on near us was 45 minutes away so we hadn't gotten to go very often. Plus paying for games for the two of us all the time adds up haha. Now that we're in Chicago there are more machines here then in Jersey but they're still a bit away from us.
