The rules game.

In this game you post different rules that each person has to follow in their next post. For example, I might say,

"1. Posts have to have one or more words containing three of the same letter"

or

"2. Posts containing the letter after "P" are illegal"



Other rules:

1. Posts with rules have to follow themselves.

EG: "Posts with the letter "Q" in it are illegal"

Would not work because it has the letter Q in it.


2. Only the 20 most recent rules apply.

3. You can't make a rule that is impossible to follow.

EG: "12. All rules must contain the letter that is the letter in the alphabet corresponding to the rule number"

Once the rule numbers get past 26, you couldn't do that.

4. You can't make a rule with the following things.
Disallowing posting at certain times.
Forcing more than 1 space in a row or more than 1 capital letter in a row.
tabReason: FFR forums may automatically alter your post.
Anything that can have an opinion.
tabEG: "1. All rules must be interesting"
Changing any game rules in this post.

5. Discussion posts are considered to be outside of the game, if a rule requires you to look at the last post, look at the last rule post.

How to play:
Players take turns posting rules in the order they sign up. The next player has 2 days to post a rule.

If you catch someone breaking a rule, you gain a point and they lose a point. All the rules are then reset.

If you catch a rule that breaks itself or a rule that is illegal, you gain 2 points and the poster loses a point. All rules are then reset.

First to 5 points wins.

We need at least 4 players, and no more than 10

I'll put the first rule in my next post, then it will be emeralds turn.

@dashoe, ill PM people if they don't show up in the first day, if they still don't show for the second day, I'll skip them, if they do it twice in a row or more then 3 times total, i'll remove them.

if you could copy all the previous rules and put them in your next post that would be great


EDIT: you can post in between rules if you want to discuss stuff, not everything has to be a rule. Just in case you didn't know

Emerald has alerted me to an important point: no editing any posts that have rules in them, otherwise if you make a mistake you could just get rid of it.


Also, if you copy the list of rules to your next post, they are not considered part of your post, you follow the requirements in your new rule.


So if emerald copyed my rule including the bold f, he would still have to bold the first f in his new rule.
