Variation on Scrabble

Okay okay, I don't know if this thread has been made already so ill just go ahead and make it.
Okay, you start with a four letter word.

1. You can add or take away up to 2 letters
2. You can change up to 2 letters but the word must be a real word.
Your only allowed to do 2 things from the list above (or you could do 1, its your choice).

Example:

Mock to Rock to Roll to Room to Zoom to Zoo to Moo to Moon to Room

Get it?

Okay lets start with Sock.

Cheap word, there should be a rule against changing the same letter as the person above you. It makes the entire post of the person above worthless.

Could you add a letter or remove one instead of replacing it? Because then if not, the game would be limited to a simple four-letter word.
