that happens to me when i have a tab open on somones profile, then i go to another profile in a different tab. it wont let you be in prochat in 2 different tabs.
but thats just me, i dont know if thats what your doing=[

Unless there's some mysterious profile page that's always open..
I've rebooted and have gone into only my profile. It says "This user name is already taken."
This has happened before, but I didn't really think much about it because I only came on the site to play FFR, but now I talk to people and such.lolcupComment

hmm, then im not sure. i bet someone else probably knows why.
try clearing your cache/cookies and just sign out off ffr and sign back in and see if that helps. if its still not working, then i don't know what else to do.

If the opening two chat windows trick won't work, logging off and on won't work, and clearing your cache won't work, you're likely locked out of the chat and you need a reset. Only the admins can do this and they don't do it on any schedule so until they do, using an alt account to chat would be the best course of action if you don't want to wait.
This happens to everyone at some point. It's never fun.Back to "Back to Earth"
