Removing Comments, WTF?

I have no clue why people even bother removing comments after they read them.

Seriously, it's such a waste of time. Isn't it easier to just respond to the comments instead of deleting them and then responding?

Yes, people like to recycle their comments, but it won't save the envrionment!

The reason why people sometimes view your profile is to read the comments. If you have an empty wall, what's the use?

Lots of people have a whole wall of comments, and it's actually interesting to read. But some people actually delete their comments after they read them, rendering the comment wall useless.

Most people occasionally delete comments, but deleting every single comment is pretty unnecessary.

Maybe, but then again, I'm talking about profile stuff in here, and I've seen worse threads, such as "Random Thumbs Down" or stuff like that.

When your profile doesn't look like junk like yours does, you sometimes like to keep it nice and the profile generally a nice color scheme. The comments can make the profile look uglier at times.

And profiles are not there for you to read other people's comments. It is to either leave a comment of your own, or to find out more about that person.

So I disagree. It is not pointless or unnecessary. I generally like it more when people delete comments. And I have more respect for people that keep their profile looking nice.

Rants are when you complain about something that you generally dislike. In this case, you dislike the fact that people delete comments from their profiles.
