Stops?!?!!

How do you put stops in simfiles, I've tried everything and nothing seems to work
Can somebody help me ASAP?

There is an option that says "Convert beats to pause". If you have a selected area in which the stop is needed then press that button. The song will pause for the length of time when you play it. Sorry, I read the forums a lot.

F9 and F10; hold alt while doing so to make the stops more precise (.005s increments)

Forgot to mention. If you really want to make the stops precise, you can go into notepad (the .sm file is easier), go to stops, and change the length of them in there. It'll show the beat and the amount of time it lasts for. Do the math to find out how long the stop needs to be.
