i think you should raise the background limit to at least 1-3 mb cause i cant upload my background and without it my profile looks like crap i dont think 512kb is alot

my vote goes here. i still think that we sould be able to put "wallpaper sized" images as backgrounds.
or make it so that they don't duplicate like a checkerboard.

i dont like it when it doubles like a checkerboard i wish it could be like it follows you down the screen as you scroll down and 1 of my backgrounds couldnt load either...MY VOTE GOES HERE TOO!

Same here, Checkerboard backgrounds suck. That's why I've been asking everyone for a non-checkerboard background image. It's pretty hard to make a decent one, at 512kb.

The banner file size limit is 512KB, so it only makes sense to have the background have a larger file size limit. It is easy though to make tiled images with the make seamless filter in gimp. One could also offset an image and manually do stuff to make where the edges were seamless.

the limit is for the bandwith ¿?? okas the requeriment is very easy.. ^^
