how do you add a background and a header on your profile? i am so confused. please someone help

You got the header I think. The background is no different. Just upload your picture where you found the header upload. (Show Style Editor, All Profile/Default Editor) It is best if you crop or resize your bg at a width of 550 because it is automatically cut at the center of your profile.
