Internet Explorer profile chat

Why does internet explorer(v6) display a chat, even if you have it disabled in your profile options?
I would assume someone's aware of this, but perhaps not. should be pretty easy to fix, I'd think.

No that doesn't help. I ask a question an you don't answer it.
Internet explorer, both version 7 and version 6, is complete garbage. Absolutely no one should be using either browser unless they are complete idiots.
