I completely agree with ben's first post pretty much. What's so bad about it turning into a myspace? Besides, it's not like you have to use it.

      I remember the days

      anime-ers, ravers, and drugged musicians.

IMO: If you've got a problem of FFR starting to get a MySpace-look, go back to Russia.

PS. I'm going to talk to "Tom" on MySpace to see if he can advertise FFR.

the thing that really pisses me off more than anything is when people have ffr profiles just to chat to peple and post pictures and havent even played ffr for once

              Re: FFR is not Myspace.

I have to say, I love the profiles.
              I love using them.
              I love talking to people.
              I'm practically a profile whore.
But, I actually play the game.
              I agree.
I think if you want a profile you should at least play SOMETHING on ffr.

                  Re: FFR is not Myspace.

ffr is not about just playing the game, it is about creating a gaming community with things that everybody can enjoy. As long as people are enjoying themselves and we attract new people then I don't see what the problem is.

WTH Why talk to tom? You'd think that just because you asked nicely he'd put all this FFR stuff on his site?

                        Re: FFR is not Myspace.

Possibly add some type of restriction on profiles? For instance, you can only start editing your profile after say...250-500 games have been played on that account? I'm not saying it's the best suggestion to fix the issue, but at least it's a suggestion.

Of course, the amount of games that have to be played could always be changed to something lower. Also, what most people need to understand is that some of the people that join FFR just to chat using Profiles might spread the word to their friends, and get them hooked into playing FFR.
                        Indeed...Etc.
