Is there any possible way of changing your FFR username? I can't stand the edgy name I made 6 years ago.

Unfortunately there isn't any possible way of changing your name. You'd have to make a new account all together. Sorry.

I think vet status can be transferred over to a new account if you choose to make one, but game-related stuff can't be transferred.

Whats the benefits towards being a veteran? Going to suck getting my credits back haha

You can actually use the FFR Shop on the website here to transfer credits between accounts

just requires you to plug in the username of the account you're sending to and the amount that you want to send

There used to be certain perks for veterans such as early song releases, ability to view others' levelranks, beta features, etc.., but I think those have all since been made public. No telling what might happen in the future, though. For now, blue username is all you really get.
