Proof of this is that I have a friend that specializes in wall noise music albums, and robotomy is more pleasing to listen to than any song over there, if you can still call it a song.

Music is merely an art of vocals, or sound. It can be as abstract as it wants to be. It's up to a person's bias whether or not it still counts as music.

To be fair though; if you posed the same question 10 years ago, there would be quite an enormous amount of people that would side with you considering 10 years ago the term "music" wasn't as vague as it is today.

Yes rhythm. If two or more things occur at different times they have rhythm, just in this case not as orderly or simple. Yes melody, a succession of tones. Not very melodious or pleasant to most, but melodic.

There's lots of music that nobody can play in real time. Those enumerated definitions just serve to show what most people think of when they hear "music" and what is commonly associated with it; they aren't strict delimiting factors of what music is allowed to be, so violating one or some of them doesn't make some audio not music.

I don't strongly disagree with a lot of what you are saying on a subjective level, just any effort to exclude certain types of music from being valid from these opinions. Visual art can be discussed and criticized on the basis of composition, color, perspective, focus, realism, et cetera, but nothing ceases to be "actual" art by violating any aspects. Robotomy is incredibly unpleasing to a lot of people, but Robotomy isn't not music. It is for the first reason that it can be argued to be unacceptable on FFR, but not for the second.

the entire point of 4'33'' if memory serves is that each individual interprets the lack of sound in their own personal way, such that it's an entirely unique piece and experience for every member of the audience

that in mind, everyone already has a file for 4'33'' already. just open up the SM editor, hit ctrl+r, and slam out notes for exactly 4 minutes and 33 seconds.

Or make a blank file that last for 4 minutes and 33 seconds.

There are songs in which only one artist is credited despite others collaborating. This song as far as I know has been always labelled as by DJ Kankaoh. Do you have other evidence that the artist should be labelled as KnK?

robotomy is 254 bpm, the first 1/3 is 4/4

                                in regards to "no harmony"

a synonym for color is timbre

Pretty sure nobody can "play" Robotomy in realtime. Also, using the word as part of the definition? Cmon.
while you may not think this is "playing" music, there are a significant number of artists that utilize modular synthesis to generate real-time sound

one of my personal favorites is richard devine

(this is a video of the same track recorded "live")
Late night abstract acid modular jam using the MakeNoise rene, brains, and 4 pressure points. Everything clocked to 1 plan-B mini ELF lfo. Trying to make squelchy acid bass lines with the WMD Gamma Wave Source - Dual WaveTable VCO. Note: the audio was recorded into my ZoomH4n, no computers or drum machines used here.

Robotomy is made of sounds, but they are anything but "sweet, pleasing, or harmonious".
this is ultimately subjective but I personally get very intense synesthetic visuals from robotomy and it was, to me, a gateway of sorts into some very interesting genres of electronic music

Devil's Music Box isn't *good*. But it is music.
devil's music box was created with the sole intent of using it as the basis for a chart, take that how you will
